How-to Configure your SNF Service:
In your portal, navigate to Details -> Devices
Click on the "Before Call" state and select your fax device. This will ensure we look for incoming faxes before sending regular calls.
Configure the "Failed Call" state to the number you wish to forward to:
The "Busy" and "No Answer" Call States will be left blank as they will not function without a registered Softphone or IP Phone.
Configure Without using Fax Detection:
Simply change the "Before Call" state to "Forward" and enter the external phone number to ring. We have set "Busy" and "Failed" to Voicemail instead.
When you are ready to expand and move toward a Softphone or IP Desktop Phone you can use your current SNF account! You will configure your phone to register with your account to make and receive calls so the system will dial your extension automitically and use your Call States as you configured.
