Is Hosted Technology Secure?

Absolutely. Recent advances in VoIP and IP telephony have allowed us to introduce a secure cloud calling infrastructure. Voice packets can be encrypted with Secure Real Time Transport (SRTP). All data sent from your IP phones such as dialed numbers, connection requests and provisioning can be secured with a 128-bit SSL encryption (SIP/TLS). All VoIP phones purchased through VCCS include these features. Furthermore, a secure connection between your trixbox and our VoIP platform is established for an additional layer of security.

With a Hosted trixbox CE or trixbox Pro Solution from VCCS you can be assured of fault tolerance and system uptime. Your trixbox phone system will be on a state of the art network with a Fiber backbone to handle any amount of call volume, RAID for fault tolerance, UPS backups and 24/7 proactive monitoring.

IP (VoIP) phones
Analog phones plugged into a VoIP adapter.

Each of these setups are utilizing Voice over IP to connect over the internet to your hosted trixbox. This means there is no charge for the connection from the work station to the offsite PBX which is used to route the calls to each employee.
